THE ARMORY SHOW

5 - 7 September 2025

The Armory Show is an international contemporary art fair known as “New York’s Art Fair.” First held in 1994 under the name Gramercy International Art Fair, it has since become a key event in the city’s cultural calendar. The 2025 edition opens with a VIP preview on September 4 and runs from September 5 to 7 at the Javits Center, bringing together more than 230 galleries.

After being acquired by Frieze in 2023, The Armory Show is undergoing a transformation under the direction of Kyla McMillan, who became the fair’s first full-time director in 2024. During the same week, a number of smaller art fairs and special events take place across the city — a period often referred to as “Armory Week” or “New York Arts Week”.
