On June 4, 2025, :mentalKLINIK took part in the Belgium House program at SXSW London, held at Shoreditch Arts Club. Curated by Marie du Chastel, Artistic Director of the KIKK Festival, the event brought together digital innovation and contemporary artistic practice in a focused and energetic setting.
As part of the program, :mentalKLINIK presented their digital video works "HYPERCLOUD ON SKY 2301" and "HYPERCLOUD ON SKY 2302" to a London audience for the first time. Shown on two screens on the first floor in an endless loop, the pieces featured vivid digital skyscapes in neon tones. The HYPERCLOUD series reflects the duo’s ongoing interest in the excesses of visual culture and the shifting line between the artificial and the real.
Organized by Wallonia-Brussels International, the Walloon Export Agency, wake! by Digital Wallonia, and the Belgian Embassy, the Belgium House program at SXSW London highlighted leading voices from Belgium’s digital and creative sectors. The one-day event included a panel on art and technology, as well as interactive installations and screenings from Belgian artists.
