PİLEVNELİ is pleased to announce Frank Nitsche's first solo exhibition in Turkey. The exhibition titled “Turkish Delight” will host art lovers between April 8 and May 13, 2023.
Born in 1964 in Görlitz, Germany, Frank Nitsche completed his art education at Hochschule für Bildende Künste.
Nitsche develops a sophisticated visual language by overlapping layers of paint, creating specific forms with intersecting lines. Geometric shapes, lines and forms are abstract formations that can remind of construction plans, technical models, calligraphy or computer programs. Frank Nitsche draws on an extensive archive of images from media, pop and consumer culture to reveal his abstract compositions.The majority of his works are produced on large canvas surfaces, which feature light tones of khaki, blue or green.
Frank Nitsche's solo exhibition "Turkish Delight" can be visited at PİLEVNELİ Dolapdere between 10:00 - 18:00 every day of the week except Sundays and Mondays.
