PİLEVNELİ is pleased to announce Nevin Aladağ’s project presented within the exhibition Public Resonator at PalaisPopulaire.
Expanding the artist’s ongoing practice centered on sound, space, and collective experience, the work approaches public space as a resonant surface. Transforming the viewer from a passive observer into an active participant, Public Resonator enables the production of sound through various forms and materials, turning individual actions into part of a shared composition.
Through her interdisciplinary approach, Aladağ invites a reconsideration of concepts such as harmony and dissonance, as well as individual and collective experience, through the relationship she establishes between music, sculpture, and architecture. Shaped around questions of how public space is heard, experienced, and shared, the work unfolds as a structure that is continuously reconfigured through its interaction with the audience.
Public Resonator is on view at PalaisPopulaire in Berlin through August 31, 2026.
