Mehmet & Kazım present their new works at ON STAGE at Mount Analogue Studios in Munich.
Extending their collaboration from public space into painting, installation, and performative forms, the duo proposes a new visual field through their large-scale, “almost abstract” paintings, challenging established readings of form, identity, and representation. Shaped by watercolor, collage, and fast, open-ended processes, the compositions allow forms to overlap, condense, and occasionally take on a sculptural presence.
Defined by a visual language of red and white, the works open up to humor, rupture, and contradiction, while foregrounding the collaborative nature of their practice. For Mehmet & Kazım, painting is less an individual expression than a shared mode of production, built through trust, exchange, and continuous dialogue.
ON STAGE can be visited from May 16 to May 29, 2026 at Mount Analogue Studios in Munich.
